We bought the chair for dad after back surgery, with the doctor's approval. He sits for twenty minutes every evening and says mornings are easier now.

A massage chair was long seen as a luxury. Today prices start from a couple thousand euros, so the question is no longer “can I afford…”

Manufacturers compete on the number of programs, but what really matters is which techniques the chair performs and how precisely. Here are the main ones and what…

It's hard to buy a chair without trying it, and the spec sheet says little until you know which numbers actually matter. Here's what to look for.

Tension between the shoulder blades and a stiff neck are common companions of sedentary work. There's usually more than one cause, so the solution is rarely a single one.

The chair is both furniture and technology. Care is simple, but a few things determine whether it will still look and work like new after five years.

I work at a computer ten hours a day. The evening shoulder session is the one thing that really helps me unwind.

We hesitated over the price for a long time. Six months on, we both use it daily, so it paid off faster than expected.

The chair is great, but it takes up more space than I imagined. Worth measuring the room beforehand — the consultant did warn me.

They delivered and set it up themselves, explained the programs. A month later they called to check in — I didn't expect that.

I have a beauty salon, put the chair in the waiting area. Clients sit and stop rushing, a few already asked where to buy one.

The leg massage is strong, it took some getting used to at first. Now I set medium intensity and it's perfect.

A massage chair at home is a simple way to take care of yourself daily. Massage chair, massage seat or armchair — it's the same piece of furniture, just called differently. No need to schedule a therapist or travel anywhere: start a session whenever you actually need it — in the morning before work or in the evening when your back is tired from sitting. The chair relaxes muscles, boosts circulation and helps you unwind, while staying a comfortable piece of furniture the rest of the time.
A few reasons worth knowing
Massage relaxes tense muscles and eases stiffness built up over a long day.
A few minutes in the chair warms the body and calms you down — helpful for falling asleep easier at night.
Having your own chair lets you massage as much as needed — even several times a day, no booking required.
A session helps you calm down after a stressful day and switch off from work thoughts.
Air compression massage boosts circulation in the limbs and reduces heaviness in the legs.
After sports or exercise, muscles recover faster and next-day soreness is reduced.
Applied massage eases the tension that builds up from sitting at a computer or driving.
No booking, no travel, no waiting — massage at home, whenever it suits you.
Dim lights, music and twenty minutes of silence — the simplest way to switch off.
The whole family uses the chair — the mechanism adjusts to height, and everyone picks their own program and intensity.
With a chair at home you get a massage whenever you want – no need to schedule, travel or wait in line. Over a year it pays off in both time and money, while staying a comfortable piece of furniture.
A chair can't replace precise rehabilitative massage done by an anatomy expert. But for everyday, preventive full-body massage it's perfect — and available any day.
Massage is one of the oldest forms of therapy. It improves circulation, relaxes tense muscles, reduces stiffness and speeds up recovery after exercise.
A few minutes are enough to release tension. A morning session wakes up muscles and joints, an evening one calms you and helps you fall asleep easier.

The number of programs matters less than the quality and precision of the massage techniques. A few well-executed techniques are better than dozens of similar ones.
Same as for regular massage: fresh wounds, fever, acute inflammation, pregnancy. If undergoing treatment, consult your doctor.
At first, one 15–30 minute session a day is enough. Once your body adjusts, you can do 2–3 sessions a day.
Clean the upholstery with a damp cloth without harsh cleaners, and keep it away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Unplug the chair before cleaning.
It's the same product, just called differently. In Lithuania it's called massage chair, massage seat or massage armchair — all referring to an armchair-shaped piece of furniture with a massage mechanism, leg rest and programs. We use "massage chair"
